So annual meeting this weekend 🙂
Can’t wait!
And I’ll be in Patterson infirmary for the meeting, so it should be interesting. I wonder how many of the friends will end up going to Jersey City, I mean most of them have years and years of FTS (unless they’re too old to make the trip down to JC, understandable I mean they’re pretty old for the most part).
I wonder what new announcement they’ll have for us this year? I mean, each year we get more and more spoiled-last year was the new meeting format and what a privilege it’s been! I mean seriously I love this new midweek meeting. I love the parts, how applicable it is to our service and man, it breaks up the meeting so nicely.
(Esp since no more obscure topic talks! haha, those were fun but yeah I’m not sorry to see them go lol)
And JW Broadcasting plus the apps-they’ve been wonderful! Esp the JW Broadcasting. It’s been so encouraging to watch it every month and it definitely makes one of the highlights of my month to watch it. Without fail I tear up with every broadcast.
(even if it’s with the greetings from the brothers and sisters at the end-man, such beautiful smiles. gets me every time. EVERY TIME.)
(Oh yeah, have I mentioned? JH is no longer a MS. 🙁 I wonder why? And it’s so sad, too because I’ve just got him a 10 year anniversary gift-I mean everyone tells me that it doesn’t matter but then I think, what if he thinks it’s a pity gift?! Because it’s totally not. Or even worse, what if he thinks he’s undeserving-like how I hate receiving compliments after a botched part at a meeting-it could discourage him more. Dilemnas, dilemnas)
Sigh. Anyways.
Next week is Heidi’s goodbye party at Lindsay’s house 🙂
Something to look forward to, I suppose.
Also, new favorites for skin care:
Glossier The Supers Super Pure- wonderful. I love applying this serum, my skin soaks it up and I feel like my scars are starting to subside.
Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint- very light and weightless on my skin, it feels like I have nothing on which is a plus. And it really helps to blur my imperfections and it’s not too heavy. I mean it doesn’t cover up the dark acne scars but helps to give my face an overall dewy, fresh, youthful appearance which I love.
Glossier Stretch Concealer- anything the skin tint doesn’t correct, I dab a little of this magical stretch concealer on top and it voila! Dark circles? Gone! Acne scars? Nope, not today! Redness? Be gone!
Chantecaille Rosewater Toner- Amazingly fine and smells like heaven. My skin soaks it right up. Plus they have a deal where you get a free bottle in May so that’s a win!
Herbivore Lapis oil-Smells a little funky but people say you need more intensive moisture when you hit your thirties and while I’m not quite there yet, it doesn’t help to get started. This oil absorbs beautifully and so far hasn’t broken me out. Apparently it’s good for acne prone dry skin and good for inflammation and redness and drying out these hormonal blemishes. Let’s see 🙂
May Lindstrom Blue Cocoon- Same ingredient as the Lapis oil, blue tansy. But this comes in a balm form and is very luxurious. Melts into my skin and while it’s a little heavy for all over wear, I love it as an eye cream. I swipe a tiny bit under my eyes and it’s been helping with the fine wrinkles i have there :T
