Seriously, it’s been on loop for me the past two days lol the lyrics, the melody, the strings with the synthesizers…ugh, it’s so good.
I especially appreciate the poetic lyrics, like:

過去と未来の間にいる僕は今
The more time flows the more it deepens
I’m between your past and future right now
Ugh, I mean how poetic is that?? The implications that as time passes, the relationship between the two parties become stronger, more deeply intrenched and that he’s currently your present, aka the fleeting here and now.
It’s beautiful. I mean, ugh, the artist in me is just melting from the appreciation hahaha
I’ve always been a sucker for poetry and the flow of words. It all comes together in such a pretty way. Words are so powerful in that they can evoke such strong emotional responses, draw imagery in your mind. It’s really such a gift that we were bestowed with <3

Did I tell you that I went to see Lucia Di Lammermoor with the cousin and sisters on Tuesday, 4/3/2018?? Bc I did. And man, it was amazing, even if it wasn’t an opera that I’m particularly fond of lol
Sohee enjoyed herself, I think. I think she was more impressed with the Lincoln Center more than anything bc let’s be honest, the center is BEAUTIFUL. And I can never tire of those glorious swarovski crystal chandeliers and the gilded gold ceilings and the two Chagall murals gracing either side of the hall. It’s ornate and luxurious and I just love walking up the plush red velvet covered grand staircase. It’s amazing 🙂
And the music! There’s such a beautiful tonal quality of the orchestra that melds perfectly from where we sat in the Family Circle (FC for life LOLOL) and the singer for Edgardo-he was amazing!! Vittorino something or other lol
